Bologna owner Joey Saputo has warned Napoli that he will do all he can to keep Simone Verdi in Rossoblu.
Napoli are being tipped to go back in for Verdi this summer after another impressive campaign for Bologna, with Inter also reportedly in the running, but Saputo made it clear the Italy attacker could only leave if a sizeable offer came in.
“Verdi is the kind of player I want to see in this shirt, not only because he’s very good but also because he puts everything he has on the pitch,” he said at a Press conference.

“Bologna don’t need a rebuild. We already did that three years ago. We won’t have a revolution this summer, but there will be changes.
“Donadoni? He was frank and honest, I thanked him for what he did here, but his cycle was over after three years.
“His successor? We’re looking for a hungry Coach who has the desire to come to Bologna.”
