Bologna vs. Inter won’t be played before April 27 as the Nerazzurri will lodge an appeal to get a 3-0 win by default and the legal teams will need one month to scrutinize all the documents.

The match at the Stadio Dall’Ara was supposed to be the first game of the year but was rescheduled after a COVID outbreak in the Rossoblu team. It caused controversy because, on paper, Lega Serie A didn’t officially postpone the game so Inter turned up to the stadium and the match was declared abandoned after 45 minutes of wait.

Bologna players had been banned from leaving their homes following a COVID outbreak in the team so, by law, they could not reach the stadium. However, the Rossoblu mistakenly registered the team’s line-up in the Lega Calcio system before the day before the match, convincing Inter to request a 3-0 win by default.

The Sporting Judge rejected Inter’s demand in February, but the Nerazzurri are not giving up and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport they will lodge a new appeal to CONI. The deadline date is Wednesday and the two legal teams will have one month to study all the documents meaning that the Dall’Ara match won’t be played before April 27.

The Serie A campaign ends on May 22 and the match may be played close to the end of the season. It is expected to be a pivotal meeting in the race for the title as Simone Inzaghi’s men sit four points behind leaders Milan but with a game in hand.

  1. Jokes and jibes aside, I think this is a mistaken strategy by Inter. On paper it will mean the points gap to first is larger than it actually is and this will weigh down on the players. Just play the game ASAP and see where you stand. Conversely, this could provide a false sense of security for Milan and Napoli.

  2. That is why this club is the dirtiest one in world football by a country mile and I do not like Juve either. I would not be surprised if they get their wish granted. If not I am sure VAR will be on standby not to check for any penalties that could go against them. From A wire tapping former owner who could not win a league title for 17 years, to picking up Juve’s trash, then changing a badge (because Juve did it), now to a whining coach who cannot accept defeat and a perennial excuse maker.

Did you read this part in the article or are you illiterate?

“However, the Rossoblu mistakenly registered the team’s line-up in the Lega Calcio system before the day before the match, convincing Inter to request a 3-0 win by default.”

The former owner didn’t win in 17 years because Moggi was busy picking refs. Google Ronaldo-Iuliano 1998. Google Chievo-Inter Di Santis 2002. Funny revisionist views there, DT. juve themselves picked Inter trash, a lot. Cannavaro, Pirlo, Bonucci, Lucio, Hernanes and now want Zaniolo. You are clueless.

  5. @G. Believe me this court Scudetto is my favourite Inter Scudetto, better than all the others. Simply because 16 years later it still annoys rubentus fans like yourself.

  6. @Francesco you are silly little clown rapid posting 4 times in a row lol.😂 Oh by the way Cannavaro for Carini was the cherry on top. Look at the decisions made during that time and go cry me a river.😂

Is there a limit on consecutive posts? Who made you posting police? Lol. I can make 100 posts in a row it is none of your business. Yes I already mentioned examples of decisions and clearly Inter that won 0 Scudetti in Moggi’s time was not the team getting helped, but the opposite.

  8. Thankfully Cannavaro won 0 titoli at juve haha. And dumped juve for Real once they were relegated. That is 2 posts in a row, hope it annoys you more. Should I add a 3rd? Like Villarreal did to your mediocre team hahaha
