David Neres is expected to return to the Napoli XI against Bologna, while Thijs Dallinga is favourite over Santiago Castro for the Rossoblu.

It kicks off at 20:45 CET (19:45 BST) at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

A win would allow Napoli to move one point below leaders Inter, while the Rossoblu need the three points to overtake Atalanta in the third spot.

Bologna defender Davide Calabria is injured, while Napoli have travelled north without Leonardo Spinazzola and Nikita Contini.

Italian media, including Corriere dello Sport, claim Vincenzo Italiano will field his ideal Bologna XI with Emil Holm replacing Calabria in the right-back position and Dallinga starting up front, as Castro has just recovered from an injury.

Napoli boss Conte is expected to return to a 4-3-3 formation, picking Neres and Matteo Politano on the wings.

Scott McTominay will start after recovering from an illness which forced him out of action in the previous match.
