Bologna director Walter Sabatini warns Tottenham, Arsenal and Atalanta that Takehiro Tomiyasu ‘will only move for the valuation we give him,’ while Marko Arnautovic isn’t signed yet.

Japan international defender Tomiyasu is at the centre of a bidding war between Atalanta, Arsenal and Spurs on the transfer market this summer.

It’s reported an offer from the Premier League side worth €17m was rejected.

“It is only Bologna who can close a deal and we are not yet at that phase,” Sabatini told Calciomercato.it.

“Let it be clear, Tomiyasu will only move for the valuation that Bologna give him and not the one set by others, so it’ll be very difficult to see him make a transfer.”

The Stadio Dall’Ara side are looking for circa €25-30m before selling Tomiyasu, a 22-year-old who can play as a central defender or a right-back.

Meanwhile, Sabatini was also asked about developments on Arnautovic, the striker who has agreed personal terms with Bologna, but first needs to terminate his contract with Shanghai SIPG by mutual consent.

“We haven’t signed Arnautovic yet, but it’s early days in the transfer market, we’ll see what happens over the next few weeks.”
