After becoming a regular at Serie A side Bologna, Aaron Hickey has finally received his first senior call-up for Scotland.
The 19-year-old is included in coach Steve Clarke’s team to face Poland and either Austria or Wales in international friendlies later this month.
The left-back was signed from Hearts in September 2020 and has been very impressive this season in Serie A, contributing four goals and one assist in 26 appearances.
Hickey found the net against Genoa, Lazio, Fiorentina and Sassuolo.
