Roberto Donadoni admits his Bologna side “must find our identity soon” ahead of the match with Torino.

The Rossoblu are just two points above the relegation zone, but are unbeaten in three matches since the former Italy CT took charge.

“We know the quality and characteristics of Torino,” Donadoni said in his pre-match Press conference.

“We want to work ourselves though, to improve our own strengths. Tomorrow we can’t be below-par, we’ll be facing a top opponent who have consolidated over the years.

“We want to work ourselves though, to improve our own strengths. Tomorrow we can’t be below-par, we’ll be facing a top opponent who have consolidated over the years.

“My Bologna must find our identity soon, that’s the only way to have consistency over the course of the campaign.

“We want to ride the wave of this positive period, but not lose sight of the situation.

“It would be a mistake to become arrogant and believe that all the danger is behind us. Our focus has to remain at the highest levels.”

Mattia Destro will be suspended for the match, but Donadoni is confident that others can step up to the plate.

“I’m convinced that whoever takes the place of Destro will do well. It’s an important opportunity and I expect a great attitude and positive service to the team.

“I like that there’s competitiveness within this squad. Unfortunately pure numbers mean that I have to leave someone in the stands, and I know that’s detrimental.”
