Bologna director Riccardo Bigon confirms Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ‘not a possibility’ for the club, regardless of his friendship with Sinisa Mihajlovic.
There had been negotiations with Ibra before he chose Milan as a free agent in January, tempted by the chance to work with coach Mihajlovic at the Stadio Dall’Ara.
Now that there are numerous reports the Swede is ready to walk away from the Rossoneri, the idea of Bologna and another Serie A adventure was revived.

“I understand the media interest in making this a story, as he is such an important name at the top level, but Ibrahimovic is not a possibility,” Bologna director of sport Bigon told RAI Radio 1.
“We are no longer in contact. He had spoken to Mihajlovic in Winter, then made his choices and from then we haven’t taken the situation into consideration.”
The most likely outcome for Ibrahimovic will be terminating his career at Hammarby, the Swedish club he co-owns.
During the lockdown, he spent the time in Sweden training with the squad.
