Whilst current President and majority shareholder Albano Guaraldi is seen as having turned down an initial approach from Montali, the Gazzetta dello Sport understand that BEG remain in the picture, with Montali believed not yet given up on igniting negotiations.

Montali has served previously as a technical director in Juventus’ youth academy and as a general manager at Roma during the initial phase of Thomas DiBenedetto’s 2011 takeover at Roma.
