Bologna ponder Pioli extension

Bologna are reportedly thinking about offering boss Stefano Pioli a new contract given his impact at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

Pioli was appointed as the new Rossoblu boss in October after the club decided to show Pierpaolo Bisoli the door.

The 47-year-old, who was sacked in pre-season by Palermo just months after his arrival from Chievo, initially signed a deal until June 2013.

Pioli’s Bologna are now picking up results and they are currently four points clear of the drop zone with a game in hand.

According to speculation, the outfit are already thinking about offering him improved terms and talks could start in the very near future.
