Inter are ready to face one of the few teams to put them in danger this season as Thiago Motta’s Bologna gear up to host the league leaders.

The match between the Rossoblu and the Nerazzurri kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara in Bologna.

Inter have looked almost flawless this term, winning 23 of their 27 Serie A outings, only dropping points on four occasions. One team to avoid defeat to Simone Inzaghi’s side was Bologna, who held the league leaders to a 2-2 draw at San Siro back in October.

Thiago Motta’s side also upset the Nerazzurri in the Coppa Italia, edging out a 2-1 win in the Round of 16 back in December, suggesting that things won’t be simple for Inzaghi’s squad in Emilia-Romagna.

Bologna cannot count on the injured Adama Soumaoro and Jesper Karlsson, but have recovered key midfielder Lewis Ferguson in time.

Inter are without Juan Cuadrado and Stefano Sensi, both sidelined with injuries. Inzaghi is also expected to rotate his squad a little ahead of the coming Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.

Probable line-ups for Bologna vs Inter

Bologna (4-1-4-1): Skorupski; Posch, Beukema, Calafiori, Kristiansen; Freuler; Ndoye, Ferguson, Fabbian, Saelemaekers; Zirkzee.

Inter (3-5-2): Sommer; Bisseck, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Carlos Augusto; Thuram, Sanchez.
