The former star of the Azzurri has been marginalized within his own team and a link to the Felsinei emerged as a possible escape route.
“Certain players of quality find themselves hanging by a thread after some of their mistakes,” Corvino admitted. “But they can still be saved.

“Certain players of quality find themselves hanging by a thread after some of their mistakes,” Corvino admitted. “But they can still be saved.
“However Balotelli has a contract worth €5-6m, which is very distant from Bologna's possibilities.”
Corvino's statement came in the middle of a larger Press conference about Bologna's future.
“We're behind schedule in terms of our technical needs.
“The glass is half-empty if you consider how much still has to be done.
“This could be my fault, but if we had a stronger structure then we could get away just with our new arrivals.”
