Newly-promoted Bologna have reportedly struck a deal with Fiorentina for Slovenia international Josip Ilicic.
According to Sport Mediaset, the two clubs have agreed terms for a €7m transfer.
The Rossoblu will now try to discuss a contract with the 27-year-old creative midfielder’s entourage.
Bologna had already been tracking Ilicic in the January window, before securing promotion via the Serie B play-offs.
This season Ilicic has scored 10 goals and provided four assists between Serie A and the Europa League.
