The Boca Juniors forward has a deal with Inter, but rules over third-party ownership mean he will be sold to Uruguayan club Deportivo Maldonado.

It was expected he would then be loaned to Bologna, with the Nerazzurri taking him in the summer when they have a slot available for a non-EU player.

“There is no negotiation regarding Bologna for the moment,” the news outlet quotes a Rossoblu source as saying.

“The player isn’t coming. There were rumours about medicals, but there’s nothing.”
