Sky Sport Italia claim that Bologna have agreed a deal worth €9m plus bonuses for FC Basel forward Dan Ndoye, who had also been linked with Torino.

It is believed to be a transfer for €9m plus another €2m in add-ons and the player has already given the all-clear, but Basel want time to find a suitable replacement.

Ndoye plays primarily on the right side of an attacking trident, but can also work on the left.

The 22-year-old was born and raised in Switzerland to parents originating from Senegal and has one senior cap for his country.

He only made the move from OGC Nice to Basel in 2021, initially on loan and then on a permanent basis, with a contract to June 2026.

The Swiss season has already begun, with Ndoye contributing a goal and three assists in four matches.

Last term, he found the back of the net seven times and added another five assists in 54 competitive appearances.
