Alberto Bollini is the new coach of the Italy Under-20 side, suggesting Attilio Lombardo will follow Roberto Mancini to Saudi Arabia.

There had been a massive shake-up of the staff for the various youth levels of Italian football in August, with Mancini also named co-ordinator of these teams.

However, when Mancini suddenly resigned as Italy CT in mid-August and confirmed he was taking the new role as coach of the Saudi Arabia squad, it shook everything up.

Lombardo was meant to be the new Under-20 coach, but he has now left to reunite with Mancini, so Bollini takes over that position.

Bollini called up his first players for Elite League matches against Germany in Berlin on September 7 and the Czech Republic in Tabor on September 11.

Among the names, there is the first Italy call for Barcelona striker Lucas Roman.
