The Bulgarian 33-year-old is currently without a club and could be picked up as a free agent despite the transfer market being shut, and now he reveals that there’s been interest from Italy.

Serie B side Pescara have been linked with the forward, but the player doesn’t reveal a club when he speaks about the possible destination.

“I have an offer from Italy and I’m waiting to see how it will go,” he told Blitz. “But I also have a different option.”

Bojinov last played for Ternana and left to play for Partizan Belgrade in July 2015. He has played 157 games in Serie A and contributed 34 goals during his spell in Italy.

He had the best return at Lecce, with his 15 goals and eight assists in 60 games for the Giallorossi from the Via del Mare.
