Jeremie Boga has not impressed since making his move to Atalanta this year and he’s ready to try out a new adventure elsewhere, with Leicester City reportedly leading the race for his signature.

The 25-year-old Ivorian midfielder, who is a product of Chelsea’s youth system, initially joined la Dea on loan from Sassuolo in January before making a permanent move in the summer for €22m. The hope was that Boga would be a driving force in Atalanta’s midfield, but injuries and tactical misunderstandings with Gian Piero Gasperini have derailed his time in Bergamo.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Boga has asked his agent Fali Ramadani to find him a move away from Atalanta in the summer and the current forerunners for his signature at Leicester City.

A move to the Foxes seemed to be a done deal a few months ago but the failure of Dennis Praet’s return to Torino hampered the talks. The Premier League outfit are now ready to return to the charge but they’re not alone.

Ramadani also represents Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano, as well as multiple Viola players, and it’s likely that Boga will be discussed with the Florence club in the coming weeks.
