Sassuolo attacker Jeremie Boga will be out for at least one week with a muscle problem.
The Ivorian winger has played 16 games for the Neroverdi in Serie A this term, ruled out of five matches with coronavirus at the start of the campaign and then a similar muscle problem in January.
The 24-year-old was substituted after 39 minutes of the match against Spezia and underwent instrumental tests today that revealed the issue in the left thigh.

Sassuolo confirmed on their official website: “Jeremie Boga is out, as the tests carried out have highlighted an injury to the left thigh flexors.”
The Neroverdi sit eighth in Serie A and are without a win in six competitive games, including the Coppa Italia exit against Serie B side SPAL.
Sassuolo face Crotone on Sunday.
