But the Ivorian 23-year-old, with a past on loan at Stade Rennais, Granada and Birmingham, has revealed that he has some big dreams for his career.

“[My dreams are] to win the World Cup and the Champions League,” he told the club’s official website. “In the past four years, I have played in these big countries.

“But I think Serie A and La Liga have valued my qualities more. I’m quick and a technical player.

“Maybe the 4-3-3 formation suits my style better, but I can also play in a 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1.”

He picked out his goal against Juventus as his best moment in the Sassuolo shirt so far, seeing as he scored against the “iconic” World Cup winner Gianluigi Buffon.

“First, when I came back from injury. I played my first game and I was really happy to be back. Then it’s the goal against Juventus, when I scored against a legend like Buffon, an iconic goalkeeper.”

Boga has scored seven goals in 22 Serie A games for the Neroverdi this term and could add to that tally when Sassuolo host Parma this weekend.
