Arturo Vidal has been waiting for an offer from Boca Juniors and his patience has finally been rewarded.

The 35-year-old Chilean midfielder is one of the best paid players in the Nerazzurri squad, earning around €6m net per season, and his departure is key if the Milanese club want to start making some heftier transfer moves this summer.

Reports from Argentina suggest that Boca have offered Vidal a three-and-a-half year contract, which would tie him to the club until December 2025. He recently had an offer from Flamengo, who were willing to pay him around $3.5m net per season for two years, and one from Galatasaray, who offered a salary worth over €5m net per season.

Boca’s offer is reportedly less valuable than either of these two offers, but Vidal’s desire to join the club could prove the difference maker. Inter will be keeping a close eye on the situation, hoping a deal can be done.
