Boca Juniors have officially ended their pursuit of Gustavo Gomez after failing to agree a fee for the Milan defender.
Boca had been heavily linked with Gomez throughout the January transfer window, but the two sides were unable to settle on a price as the Argentines’ Coach was left to rue missing out on a player who would have “raised our level”.
“There’s a market value that can be agreed on,” Guillermo Barros Schelotto was quoted as saying by Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.
