Boca Juniors are discussing the payment terms for Cagliari to buy Nahitan Nandez, while targeting Atalanta defender Jose Luis Palomino.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Boca director of sport and former Inter and Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso was in a series of meetings today in Milan.
It’s believed he was talking to Cagliari about the situation with Nandez, as while the Sardinians are prepared to activate his €21m release clause, there are problems over the structure.
While Cagliari want the first instalment to be just €2m, that wouldn’t even suffice to cover the taxes Boca need to pay (15 per cent) for the transfer.
Burdisso was also negotiating with Atalanta, as Boca Juniors are said to be offering €7m for defender Palomino.
However, so far the response has been negative, as the Nerazzurri want to keep the Argentine centre-back.
