According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi are looking for a new Sporting Director and a figure who would be a link-up between the club and the team.

The likes of Ralf Rangnick and Lille’s Luis Campos are among the candidates for the role of Sporting Director although other reports in Italy say Jonas Boldt is in pole for the role, with the Hamubrger SV director who has opened talks with the Giallorossi.

Umberto Gandini and the former Croatia star are being considered for the other job.

One year ago, Boban left his position as FIFA Deputy Secretary General to become Milan’s Chief Football Officer.

The 52-year-old had remained in charge only for a few months as he left the Rossoneri in March because he didn’t share Ivan Gazidi’s decision to hire Ragnick who, however, never arrived at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
