Juraj Kucka’s suspension and Andrea Berloacci’s knock have handed Boateng an opportunity, as Giacomo Bonaventura will drop back into a midfield three alongside Riccardo Montolivo and Andrea Poli.

Calciomercato.it believes that the attacking midfielder will be playing for his future and will need to convince the club to give him an extension in the next few games.

The Ghana international currently has a deal that expires in June, but has until the end of the season to convince Milan of his ability.
