FIFA President Sepp Blatter has called Kevin-Prince Boateng 'courageous' after the Milan midfielder spoke at the United Nations this afternoon.

The Rossoneri man made a speech as part of International Day for the Elimination of Racism following his protest in the club's friendly with Pro Patria earlier this season.

And the governing body's chief has claimed that he wants to work with the 26-year-old going forward.

“We have maintained from the start that Kevin-Prince Boateng was right to leave the field,” he told reporters.

“His gesture was symbolic and courageous. It is a warning though, not a solution.

“We hope to work with Kevin to eradicate racism once and for all.”
