The expected arrival of Kevin-Prince Boateng will reportedly see Keisuke Honda leave Milan in January.
As reported yesterday, Boateng is expected to end his contract with Schalke 04, freeing him to sign for the Rossoneri, having been training at Milanello since the summer.
Today’s Tuttosport reports that the Diavolo are just waiting for the contract to be officially rescinded, which should come within the next 10 days, and would deposit the midfielder’s contract with them on January 4.
That would mean Boateng would be available to make his official Milan return on January 6 against Bologna.
The newspaper reports that this could see Keisuke Honda shown the exit door, with the Japanese international failing to convince Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
English side West Ham United are thought to be interested, while a return to the Russian League could also be an attractive option for Honda.
