Jean-Claude Blanc has resigned from the Juventus board after five years with the Italian giants.

The Frenchman stepped down from his administrator and director general role, the latter which he shared with Beppe Marotta, earlier today.

Blanc, who will be replaced as the outfit's administrator by Aldo Mazzia, will remain at the club until 30 September 2011 though.

He will continue in a role created for him which will allow the official to oversee the stadium project.

Juve's new arena, built on the site of the old Stadio Delle Alpi, should be ready for the new season.
