“There has been no contact with Inter,” assured Jean-Pierre Bernès on Radio Monte Carlo.
“Laurent can make any choice, as he will be in control of his own future. All the club Presidents know he will be a free agent after Euro 2012 and there are possibilities for him.”
Among the other alternatives for Inter are recently-sacked Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas, former England boss Fabio Capello and Quique Sanchez Flores.
