Inter wing-back Cristiano Biraghi knows how “how important” the Derby della Madonnina against Milan is for the “people and the club”.
The 27-year-old has played 15 times in the League this term and hopes to be a part of the big clash against Milan at the Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday.
“It’s such an important match for the fans, the atmosphere and the club,” he told Tuttomercatoweb. “The preparation remains the same, but mentally we try to do even more.”

He arrived from Fiorentina last summer and said he enjoys “every” moment of his Inter career so far and has revealed that the former Nerazzurri full-back Maicon was his favourite player when he was young.
“It’s a great feeling every time I wear this shirt,” he said. “It was a goal I had set for myself and when you achieve something like that, it’s always a great joy.”
“When I was little, I really liked to watch Maicon play,” he said. “Whilst I was growing up, there were many great full-backs, but Maicon was my role model.”
