According to Sport Bild, Carlo Ancelotti will welcome Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid next summer as the French striker has agreed personal terms with the Merengues.

The 2018 France World Cup winner sees his PSG contract expire in June and, according to Sport Bild, he will move to Madrid as a free agent over the summer.

The La Liga giants will make him the highest-paid footballer in the world as the France superstar has reportedly agreed to sign a €50m-a-year deal with Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

Back in November, Ancelotti commented on Mbappé’s chances to join Real Madrid in an interview with Il Corriere dello Sport.

Haaland or Mbappé to Madrid? Ancelotti provides cryptic transfer update

“In one year, at the end of December 2022, we’ll have a new stadium and Florentino has serious intentions for July,” the Italian tactician said.

Ancelotti returned to Real Madrid in the summer and the Merengues are currently on top of the La Liga table.

The former Milan, Chelsea and PSG coach has already won the Spanish Supercup this season, becoming the first Italian coach to lift the trophy.

Real Madrid have been quiet over the last few transfer windows, signing only a few footballers, but according to the report, they will sign one of the best players on the planet in just a few months.
