Napoli director of sport Riccardo Bigon has resigned, as he’s heading to Verona, while Maurizio Sarri is to be the new Coach.
This morning the club released a statement confirming Bigon had tended his resignation as director of sport.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis thanked him for the work done over the years at the Stadio San Paolo.

For some weeks it has been widely reported that Bigon is going to take over as director at Hellas Verona, following Sean Sogliano’s departure.
Meanwhile, it is now extremely likely that ex-Empoli Coach Sarri has been chosen as the new tactician.
