“Last year we did a great job, we finished third but we deserved to be second. In the Coppa Italia final we played one of the best teams in Europe.

“This Supercoppa is the best way to close last season. We’re preparing well for the match, we’re here because we did good things last season.

“This game is important for us. We can consider this revenge, it’s a good chance to make up [for the Coppa Italia final].

“We’ve received a lot of affection here in China, and we’re happy about that.”

Many pundits believe the Bianconeri have been weakened in midfield by the departures of Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal, does Biglia see it that way?

“They are definitely players who are on another level, but Juventus have good players. They’ll have to show on the pitch that they’re up to the level of those who left.”
