The Argentina international was diagnosed with the fracture of two transverse processes of the lumbar vertebrae following a 1-0 defeat to Benevento on Saturday.
“I already spoke to (Argentina CT Jorge) Sampaoli and am trying to rush the recovery, as I always do after an injury, and this won’t be my first, or my last,” Biglia told television programme Sportia.
“The doctors told me I’ll be out for six weeks, but I am optimistic and want to play the final two games of the Serie A season.”
That would also mean recovering in time for the Coppa Italia Final against Juventus on May 9.
He is also targeting the trip to Atalanta and hosting Fiorentina on the final round.
Above all, the race is on to prove his fitness for Argentina and the 2018 World Cup.
