The Frenchman has been out of action since the start of the season after tests during a proposed move to Milan highlighted a potential cardiac issue.

Whilst the player is still going through a series of examinations, his President has revealed that he can target a return to playing.

“Biabiany we have missed greatly,” Ghirardi has commented to reporters today, whilst reflecting on Parma’s poor start to the season.

“Even more so because from the latest news he seems to have nothing serious and he can return to the field in a short time, but I was not told if that is 15 days, one month or two months.

“The situation is still positive, it seems that he does not have anything particularly serious, and that the rest has done him good.”

Ghirardi was also asked about the new law passed last week decreeing that clubs must put up the cost of policing at stadiums on matchdays.

“We will analyse carefully what can be done, we are very disappointed, it is absurd that we have to pay for security outside the stadiums.

“If we want to continue to attack the clubs then there will be an impoverishment in Calcio.

“We respect the law, but I find it absurd that for concerts and rallies there is no charge, even for safety within the structures, but in football there is even for outside.

“It seems to me to be out of this world, as I said a week ago.”
