Como striker Patrick Cutrone was named as the outright best performing Italy player in the sixth round of Serie A fixtures this weekend, coming away with an average rating of 8/10 after his brace against Hellas Verona on Saturday afternoon.
Three Italy players came away with average scores of 7.5/10, namely Roberto Piccoli of Cagliari, who scored the winner in a 3-2 win over Parma, Lorenzo Montipo, despite letting three in against Como, and Niccolo Pisilli, who came off the bench for Roma and is now in line for a call-up to the Italy national team.
Several players came away with average ratings of 7/10, including Cagliari’s Gianluca Gaetano, another Como striker in Andrea Belotti, and Inter goalscorer Davide Frattesi.
They were also joined on the same average rating by Napoli centre-back Alessandro Buongiorno, Fiorentina striker Moise Kean and Udinese forward Lorenzo Lucca.
