Reports suggest that Besiktas have presented their first official offer to Milan for winger Junior Messias.
The 32-year-old Brazilian forward was brought by Stefano Pioli to the club’s pre-season tour in the United States but is not considered part of the project in the Lombardy capital, having just a year left on his contract.
Milan are currently in the process of finalising Ante Rebic’s sale to Besiktas and they could soon send another unneeded player to Istanbul.
As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Besiktas have offered Milan around €1m for Messias, below the €3m asking price. The Turkish side are expected to raise the figures in a new offer in the coming days.
The 32-year-old has not yet agreed personal terms with Besiktas and further talks are expected in the coming days.
Last season, Messias scored six goals and provided two assists in 36 total appearances under Pioli, struggling to particularly impress. The club have since signed both Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze, who can fill that role on the right side of the front three.
