Local reports suggest that Besiktas have submitted an offer to Milan for unneeded forward Ante Rebic.

The 29-year-old has been frozen out of the project by Stefano Pioli and has not been called up to join the squad for the pre-season tour in the United States.

Rebic failed to impress for Milan last season, scoring just three goals in 31 appearances across all competitions.

As reported by Turkish outlet SportsDigitale via GOAL Italia, Besiktas have submitted a concrete loan offer for Rebic and are now waiting for a response.

There is little space for the Croatian forward in the squad now following the arrivals of Christian Pulisic and Luka Romero, and the imminent deals for Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze.

The 29-year-old is contracted to the Rossoneri until June 2025 and the club are keen to lighten their wage bill to make space for their new signings.

Rebic has scored 29 goals and provided 17 assists in 123 total appearances for Milan.
