A Besiktas delegation has reportedly arrived in Florence to try and convince Mario Gomez of a move to Turkey. 

It was widely reported yesterday that an €8m move was practically done, but Tuttosport reported today that the German wasn’t convinced and only wanted a loan move.

Gianluca Di Marzio has now reported that a Turkish delegation consisting of the likes of Vice-President Torugullari and sporting director Ali Naibi have now arrived in Florence.

Gianluca Di Marzio has now reported that a Turkish delegation consisting of the likes of Vice-President Torugullari and sporting director Ali Naibi have now arrived in Florence.

It is believed that an agreement between the clubs has already been reached and that the representatives will try to convince Gomez of the move.

It has also been reported that the club have prepared a private jet to take the 30-year-old to Istanbul tomorrow once the deal has been finalised.
