Sporting director Erdal Torunogullari says Besiktas would rather keep Mario Gomez than sign Mario Balotelli.
Super Mario’s agent, Mino Raiola, declared today that he was “100 per cent” certain the striker would join the Turkish side.
However, Torunogullari says they would rather sign Gomez outright from Fiorentina.
“We know Raiola well,” the sporting director admitted in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.

“He’s even said Balotelli will go to Besiktas, but it’s not like that. We’re not interested, our priority is to hold on to Mario Gomez.
“This month will be decisive, everything depends on him [Gomez]. Only then will we decide what to do.
“Kamil Glik and Mauricio Isla? I can confirm the interest in Glik. We like him, and we’ve made an attempt. We’re not interested in Isla.”
