The Rossoneri’s €20m summer signing was forced to leave the Italy camp early during the international break with a problem to his abductor muscle.
The club released a statement today to confirm that the 24-year-old will not be fit for Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina.

“AC Milan announce that the medical exams that Andrea Bertolacci underwent today showed a small lesion in the region of the right thigh abductor,” read the statement on the club’s official website.
“In a week the player will undergo further tests.”
