The Nerazzurri tactician was caught showing the middle finger to Juventus’ executives during Tuesday’s Coppa Italia semi final clash against the Old Lady.
“He is a top coach who always gives everything and, therefore, he wants the same from his players,” Berni told Radio Incontro Olympia.
The 37-year-old spent one season at Inter with Conte in the dug-out.
“When the results come, everything is quietly, but tension grows when they are missing," he continued.
“Conte is definitely a tough coach, not someone you would play five-a side football with.
“He always demands the maximum from each one of his players because he does the same, every time.”
