Chelsea and Juventus are reportedly set to hold talks over a swap deal involving Federico Bernareschi and Jorginho, who is valued at ‘around €40m’.

Gazzetta dello Sport claimed earlier today that Juve were offering Bernardeschi in exchange for Jorginho, with Maurizio Sarri keen on having the Italo-Brazilian back at his disposal.

Now, Calciomercato.com claims Chelsea want ‘around €40m’ for Jorginho, prompting the Bianconeri to consider sending a player in the opposite direction.

That player would be Bernardeschi, with the Blues described as ‘becoming more and more insistent’ on the idea of bringing him to Stamford Bridge.

The website adds a meeting is ‘expected’ to take place between Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici and Chelsea officials in the near future.

The Old Lady paid Fiorentina €40m in the summer of 2017 to sign the 26-year-old, who can play anywhere across midfield or attack.

Jorginho, meanwhile, followed Sarri to Stamford Bridge from the San Paolo two years ago after Chelsea handed over €57m.
