Silvio Berlusconi is reportedly looking for new investors into Monza as he looks to take the team to the next level.

Corriere della Sera details how the former Prime Minister of Italy wants his team to continue their growth and is now exploring ways of attracting investors into a team that has gone from Serie C to Serie A in only a few years.

The most viable plan currently is the entry of a new minority partner through a reserved capital increase. In this plan, there would be both the possibility of the new minority shareholder buying the club at a later date and the possibility of returning the shares to the Berlusconi family.

Regardless, Berlusconi and his close collaborator Adriano Galliani have no intention of giving up control of the Lombardy outfit and want to see how far they can take Monza, with the former Milan president even dreaming of a possible Scudetto bid in the future.

Monza currently sit 11th in the Serie A table, a comfortable 12 points away from the relegation zone.
