The questions continue to swirl around the Chinese patron after reports of financial instability by the New York Times, Forbes and Marca.
UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin also said he was “worried” about the Rossoneri’s Financial Fair Play proposal.
“The new owner of Milan is a very nice person and he maintained all the pledges made with us,” Berlusconi told television show Che Tempo Che Fa.
“Finivest (his holding company, ndr) evaluated his proposal by relying on international advisors and important legal firms.
“The new Milan owner also maintained the promise to invest €250m on the transfer market. The way they use that money on the market and the tactics Milan employ on the pitch are things I cannot intervene on.”
