Silvio Berlusconi has urged Milan to adopt a more attacking style as playing with one striker limits them to “one or two shots at goal”.
Berlusconi sold Milan to a Chinese consortium towards the end of last season, but that has not stopped their former President from criticising the club to the Press.
“For my Milan, I found a buyer who kept all his promises, but this season and last, they’ve been playing in a formation that I don’t like,” the 80-year-old told Rai New 24.

“They play with only one striker, so we see a maximum one or two shots at goal from them.
“I remember [former Sampdoria and Roma boss Vujadin] Boskov saying ‘in order to score, you must have shots at goal.’
“This should be taken into consideration by Rino Gattuso, who insists on playing with one striker.
Berlusconi then hinted Antonio Conte was his pick to become Italy’s next CT.
“I won’t say any names, otherwise I’d annoy those that I didn’t mention… Let’s just say it’s someone who has already been in the role,” he concluded.
