It was announced earlier today that a deal had been struck for the Thai businessman, known as ‘Mr Bee’ to acquire almost half of the club.

There has been some speculation that the move is part of a strategy to eventually gain full control of the club, but Berlusconi insists he will never sell.

“We’ve signed an exclusive deal to sell a minority of Milan over eight weeks,” the club President confirmed in an interview with Sky.

“The historic day will come at the end of that period, when we sign the contract.

“The important thing is to keep hold of the majority, I’ve aways told my children there are two things which will never be sold: the house at Arcore, and Milan.

“My family will always hold a majority in the future.

“I’m happy with how things went, Mr Bee has done well, very well.”

The former Prime Minister also confirmed his intention to appoint Sinisa Mihajlovic as the club’s next Coach.

“He made a good impression. I hope he can be the future Coach of Milan.”
