Berlusconi ‘Honorary Milan President’?

It’s reported Bee Taechaubol will offer €770m for 70 per cent of Milan, keeping Silvio Berlusconi as Honorary President.

Il Messaggero newspaper today outlines the plan put forward by the Thai investor known as ‘Mr Bee.’

His idea would be to pay €330m for 30 per cent of the club, including an option to add a further €440m to take over 70 per cent by the end of the year.

Fininvest would still be involved, holding 30 per cent of the club shares and leaving Silvio Berlusconi as Honorary President.

It’s a bidding war, as Chinese investors are also in negotiations to buy into the Rossoneri.
