According to Italian news agency ANSA, Berlusconi has admitted to them that he is “disappointed” with the Diavolo, and complained that the team "lack chemistry".

The same source further reports that the former Prime Minister rejected the opportunity to criticise referees, instead complaining about the Coach.

Milan invested heavily in the summer, in the likes of Carlos Bacca, Alessio Romagnoli and Andrea Bertolacci.

Despite this, Mihajlovic’s men currently sit seventh, 11 points behind city rivals Inter, who have been crowned winter champions.
