Fabio Capello has described Silvio Berlusconi as ‘the greatest President in the history of world football.’
The former Italian Prime Minister is selling the Rossoneri to a group of Chinese investors, led by Yonghong Li, after 30 years at the San Siro helm.
Capello, who worked under Berlusconi as Milan Coach across two spells, has now paid tribute to his former boss as he prepares to relinquish control of the club.

“Silvio Berlusconi has been the greatest President in the history of world football,” Capello told Tuttomercatoweb. “He is leaving because he wants the best for Milan.
“The last deal he has done is a sign of his love for the club. A Chinese Milan? Let’s see what happens.”
