Reports are intensifying that Silvio Berlusconi has agreed a deal with Bee Taechaubol to sell a stake in Milan.

It was reported over the weekend that a deal had been reached which would see the Thai investor take over a 25 per cent share of the Rossoneri.

Today La Repubblica reiterates those claims, saying that while due diligence is still to be performed, everything is in place for the deal, which would see Taechaubol take a majority share over a five year period.

Today La Repubblica reiterates those claims, saying that while due diligence is still to be performed, everything is in place for the deal, which would see Taechaubol take a majority share over a five year period.

The newspaper claims that the property tycoon’s plan is to have a Milan team made up of 9 Italian players and two foreigners, possibly from Asia.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport also reports developments, but warns that joint-CEOs Adriano Galliani and Barbara Bersluconi remain unconvinced.

The Turin-based sports daily believes that a ‘pro-Berlusconi clause’ could be inserted into any agreement, giving the President the right to regain full control of the club in the event of bad management or lack of investment.
